The pharmacy tech courses you will need to take vary by state, especially if you are attempting to get a local certification. Generally speaking, however, it is a good idea to take classes that have an emphasis in math and science. As far as math goes, you don’t need anything too advanced, algebra should be fine. Sciences are a bit more complicated, and can cover such basics as biology and chemistry all the way up to tougher courses like anatomy and physiology.
